The Unmaker’s Slave
This poem was originally written in 2008 as part of a project I under took to write a novel back then. It was abandoned for a reason which maybe I will discuss at some point.
Now it has become the basis for my concept and novel projected named The Arrow.
Should the Harvesters take me
please do never wake me
For all that I’ve done
while under the sun
comes back in my dreams
My hands move, but not by me
My eyes look, but they don’t see
The actions of mine
will haunt me all time
live death it does seem
Before sleep by light of the moon
pray death to take me soon
I don’t want to kill
The dreams are too real
The Unmaker owns me.
